Detailed Review
-
Price vs Quality
This is clearly positioned as an upper-scale resort but the quality of new finishing, spa facilities, and half board options make it justified yet still good value.
-
Service Experience
The family ownership shines through; staff are professional, warm, and friendly. Not only do they willingly help arrange excursions, but sometimes go out of their way to do so.
-
Location Quality
It is scenically perfect (5 stars for the view), but give it a 4 for logistical practicality since you aren't right on the water's edge.
-
Neighborhood
Quiet and green. You are surrounded by nature, mostly prickly pears and other hotels. Lucky to find calmness away from madness.
-
Cleanliness Level
The lawns are well kept and in general, maintenance seems to be a constant preoccupation that leaves the new interiors shimmering.
-
Breakfast Quality
A real surprise. Breakfast is abundant with local products while dinner proposes refined dishes of the territory (fresh fish, pasta with ‘Nduja’) much above any standard hotel buffet offer.
-
Comfort of Bed
“Superior” and “Deluxe” are among the best modern, bright high-quality bed-and bathrooms available in town.
-
Internet Quality
Free and quite strong both in the common areas and within the rooms, though sometimes thick concrete walls can be a bother to the signal.
-
Room Freshness
“Mediterranean Chic.” White-washed walls, blue accents, and modern furniture give an atmosphere that is fresh air yet upmarket.
-
Quietness Level
Very high. The location away from the main road and the beach bars ensures silence at night.
-
Long-Term Livability
With the pool, spa and good food you can easily spend a week here though you will want a car to explore Tropea nearby.
-
Parking Convenience
Free, secure and ample on-site parking is available which is essential in this region.
